Women's Volleyball Player of the Week

Paola Beniquez, Pratt

Junior • Outside Hitter • Carolina, Puerto Rico

Beniquez compiled a trio of double-doubles last week leading Pratt to a five-set win over Rutgers-Newark with 13 kills and 24 digs. She followed up with 13 kills and 10 digs in a loss at Cedar Crest and bounced back with 11 kills and 16 digs as the Cannoneers downed Goucher.

Women's Volleyball Rookie of the Week

Alex Kemsley, King's

Freshman • Middle Hitter • Austin, Texas

Kemsley went off in a loss to Rosemont putting up a near triple-double with 20 kills, 20 digs, and eight service aces across four sets.

Men's Soccer Player of the Week

Carmine Tronolone, SUNY ESF

Junior • Goalkeeper • Buffalo, N.Y.

Tronolone earned a shutout saving all six shots he saw on goal in an HVIAC double-overtime draw against Five Towns.

Men's Soccer Rookie of the Week

Mouhamed Diop Dia, Five Towns

Freshman • Goalkeeper • Mount Vernon, N.Y.

The rookie shutout defending HVIAC champion SUNY ESF with eight saves in a double-overtime draw last week.

Women's Soccer Player of the Week

Abby Thomas, SUNY ESF

Freshman • Forward • Hyde Park, N.Y.

Thomas aided the Mighty Oaks to a decisive, 10-0, conference victory over Five Towns with a goal and two helpers.

Honor Roll

Deanna Colondona, Pratt • Women's Volleyball

The rookie brought up a whopping 70 digs across three matches as the Cannoneers went 2-1 last week.

Dario Cruz-Sepulveda, Berkeley • Men's Soccer

The sophomore keeper came away with five saves allowing just one score as Berkeley fell 1-0 to Keystone College.

Josiah Simons, King's • Men's Soccer

The senior was involved in eight of the Knights' nine goals scoring three times and serving up five assists as King's topped Cooper Union 9-0.
