Men's Soccer Player of the Week

Azzeddine Sekkat, Vaughn

Junior • Midfielder • Astoria, N.Y.

Sekkat scored the game-winner in Vaughn's 2-1 conference win over Five Towns which secured them a spot in the HVIAC Tournament for the first time since 2015. The Astoria product also netted a game-tying goal to force overtime against SUNY ESF in an eventual 3-2 loss.

Men's Soccer Rookie of the Week

Aaron Flint, SUNY ESF

Freshman • Midfielder • Woodhull, N.Y.

Flint garners his second Rookie of the Week honor of the season as he scored his first collegiate goal in the Mighty Oaks' 3-2 overtime triumph against Vaughn this past week.

Men's Cross Country Player of the Week

Matthew Tripp, SUNY ESF

Freshman • Fayetteville, N.Y.

Tripp receives his second Runner of the Week award after finishing first overall at the first-ever Mighty Oaks Invitational, traversing the 5K course in 16:11.

Women's Soccer Player of the Week

Bailey Kaufman, King's

Junior • Goalkeeper • Lincoln, Neb.

Kaufman collects her second Player of the Week accolade after posting a clean sheet with 18 saves in the Lions' 1-0 win over Pratt.

Women's Soccer Rookie of the Week

Hailey Hirst, King's

Freshman • Forward • Katy, Texas

Hirst came away with a clutch game-winning goal in the 89th minute of King's 1-0 victory over Pratt as she attempted six of the Lions' 12 shots on the day.

Women's Volleyball Player of the Week

Abby Roth, King's

Freshman • Setter • Temecula, Calif.

Roth facilitated a successful 2-0 weekend for the Lions dishing out 41 assists and firing seven aces across HVIAC sweeps of Culinary and Five Towns.

Women's Volleyball Rookie of the Week

Callie Donaghue, King's

Freshman • Middle Hitter • Albemarle, N.C.

Donaghue notched a career-high 12 kills on .308 hitting with a pair of digs in King's conference sweep of Five Towns.

Women's Cross Country Player of the Week

Erin Cocca, SUNY ESF

Senior • East Aurora, N.Y.

Cocca completed the first-ever Mighty Oaks Invitational in 20:50 (5K) good for fifth place overall leading ESF to a second-place team finish.

Honor Roll

Emily Angelastro, Five Towns • Women's Volleyball

The junior had 12 digs, four kills, and four service aces in a three-set loss to King's.

Paola Beniquez, Pratt • Women's Volleyball

The junior amassed 17 aces, nine assists, and seven kills across three wins for Pratt.

Gabriella Evangelista, Albany Pharmacy • Women's Soccer

The junior came away with 23 saves in a 2-1 loss to NHTI.

Sau Wai Sin, Culinary • Women's Volleyball

The rookie put up 13 digs, six aces, and five kills over two losses for the Steels.

Chloe Walton, Five Towns • Women's Volleyball

The senior posted five kills on super-efficient .625 hitting in the loss to King's. 

Adrian Wong, Five Towns • Men's Soccer

The freshman tallied the Sound's only goal in a 2-1 league loss to Vaughn.
