The ACPHS men's basketball team suffered a blow to their win-loss record yesterday as they were bested my the Knights of Vermont Tech 44-63.
While neither team shot particularly well from the field in the first half, the Knights 31% field goal percentage, coupled with their perfect free throw percentage, was enough to outscore the Panthers 29-18 in the first half.
Casey Redfern led the Panthers in scoring with 15 points, while
Steven Brown contributed eight points and 11 rebounds.
Down by 11 at the half, that's the closest the Panthers would come to closing the gap as the Knights heated up the score board tallying a 66% three point field goal percentage.
The Panthers fall to 10-3 on the season, and will hit the road on Sunday to face conference opponents Sarah Lawrence college at 3pm.
