After a quick 2-0 start to their season The King's College Lady Lions were stopped in their tracks last night in a 70-31 loss to the College of New Rochelle Blue Angels.
The Blue Angels dashed off to a 47-16 haltime lead on their way to victory. The Lady Lions did not give up though as junior Anna Eaves had 9 points, sophomore Kara Simmons had 4 points and 6 rebounds and junior point guard Kylie Locklar had 4 points, 5 rebounds and 3 steals. Freshman Kelsey Thomason came off the bench and added 7 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists.
NEXT UP: The King's College will take on SUNY-NEW Delhi Saturday December 3 at Baruch College at 1pm.
