Brooklyn, N.Y. -- The Vaughn College Warriors returned to action after a long break on Sunday, January 30. The Warriors squared off against Touro College at the Post gymnasium in Brooklyn, NY. Junior forward Michael Reed (Freeport, NY) posted a monster statline. Reed finished with 21 points and 10 rebounds. Unfortunately, the Warriors were unable to get major contributions from the rest of the team. They would go on to drop their first game of the second semester to Touro.

Ajay Sharma (Queens, NY) saw his first action in a Vaughn College uniform. The freshman guard registered 13 points on 5-13 shooting from the field, including three triples. Sharma also grabbed three rebounds and had a pair of steals in his collegiate debut. Louis Roche (Carteret, NJ) added 12 points,  three rebounds and had  two assists for the Warriors.

The men's basketball team will face a couple of tough conference opponents in the upcoming week. They are scheduled to battle King's College and Berkeley College (NY) on Tuesday, February 2 and Thursday, February 4.
