The ACPHS men's soccer team cruised to a 3-0 victory over St. Joseph's (NY) on Sunday afternoon in a Hudson Valley Men's Athletic Conference matchup. With the victory, the Panthers improve to 6-2 on the season and stay unbeaten in HVMAC play at 4-0.
Adam Hoye-Simek, who has been outstanding in goal all season, earned his second straight shutout.
Zach Hecox, coming off a hat trick a game earlier against Sarah Lawrence College, scored two more goals on Sunday to lead the Panthers while
MaCullen Cope scored his first collegiate goal as he opened the scoring on the day with an impressive strike from outside the box in the 25th minute of the game.
The Panthers return to action as they travel to Morrisville State College on Thursday evening.
