BRONXVILLE, N.Y.—Sarah Lawrence College men's basketball fell to St. Joseph's College Brooklyn, 71-20, in a Hudson Valley Men's Athletic Conference game at Noyes Court at Campbell Sports Center on Wednesday.
For Sarah Lawrence (4-12, 0-5 HVMAC), the defense maintained solid control beneath the Bears' basket, as the Gryphons out-rebounded St. Joseph's Brooklyn (11-10, 2-1 HVMAC) by a 31-9 margin beneath the visitors' basket. Still, solid outside shooting by the Bears proved decisive in the game.

Sarah Lawrence will head to face The Cooper Union on Friday at 7 p.m. The Gryphons have one final home game remaining on the 2012-13 slate, a rematch against Cooper Union scheduled for Wednesday, February 13 at 7 p.m.
