The Panthers struggled against the Knights of Berkeley College Saturday afternoon in a 63-100 loss.
The Knights were ready to attack from the opening tip and seemed to be too much for the Panthers defense to handle. Despite
Peter Aiken's 24 points and 8 rebounds the Panthers were unable to slow down the Knights attack.
Down by 19 at the half, the Panthers were able to narrow the gap to 15 before the Knights took off on a scoring spree that the Panthers were unable to recover from.
Casey Redfern scored 12 points for the Panthers while
Steven Palmer had 7 points and two rebounds.
The loss drops the Panthers conference record to 1-2 with an overall record of 4-10. The Panthers face HVCC tonight at 7pm.
