Ramapo (6-5-2) notched the game's first goal in the 15th minute when Luke Giegerich notched his second score of the season. Kevin Monaghan scored the Roadrunners' second goal in the 17th minute, and 90 seconds later, he netted a third goal for the home team.

Leading 3-0 Ramapo stacked on two more goals in the 26th and 30th minutes, thanks to offense by Dave Przybylo and Chris Ugarte. Roadrunner Lucas Tasci rounded out the first-half with a goal in the final minute to make the score 6-0 at the break.

For Sarah Lawrence (3-7), the Gryphons' best scoring opportunity came in the 79th minute. After taking SLC's only corner kick of the game, sophomore Juan Sucre (Caracas, Venezuela/ASFM (Monterrey, Mexico)) followed up with a powerful strike that required intervention by Ramapo goalkeeper Brady O'Connor; the effort was the Gryphons' only official shot on the day.

Between the pipes, SLC keeper Elliott Warkus (Waimea, Hawai'i/Parker School) played 51 minutes, notching one save. Junior Jeff Bernstein (Los Angeles, Calif./Buckley School) made an appearance in goal and also recorded one save.

Sarah Lawrence is on the road again on Sunday, as the Gryphons travel to Culinary Institute of America for a Hudson Valley Intercollegiate Athletic Conference game at 1 p.m.
