The ACPHS men's soccer team traveled to Morrisville State College on Thursday evening and lost by a score of 2-0 as the host team scored a goal in each half to stop the Panthers' three-game winning streak.
Morrisville controlled possession throughout the game and continued to put pressure on the Panther defense.
Adam Hoye-Simek, as he has done all season long, made a number of tremendous saves in goal for ACPHS, making 13 saves on the evening to keep the Panthers in the game.
Alessandro Macchiarelli had the best chance for ACPHS late in the second half as he corralled a through ball from
Steve Sullivan, and blasted a shot at goal that was deflected just wide of the net by the Mustang goalkeeper.
ACPHS falls to 6-3 on the season and returns to action on Sunday as the team hosts SUNY-ESF in a battle of nationally ranked USCAA teams.
