Huskies Win Big On Senior Night!

Pottersville, NY – The Word of Life Huskies welcomed Bay Path University Wildcats for the first time to the campus of the Word of Life Bible Institute. Before the game began, we recognized Suzie Petrossi in Word of Life's first senior ceremony for Women's Soccer.
The Huskies started off quickly as they put the pressure on the Wildcats. Isabella Tanis opened the scoring up in the 7th minute and Alivia Jones scored 43 seconds later to make it a quick 2-0 lead. The Huskies would take an 8-0 lead with a total of 2 goals from Tanis, 2 from Jones, 2 from Hailey Jeffreys, a goal from Maggie Vander Wiele, and Suzie Petrossi going into halftime.
The Huskies were not finished there as the Huskies scored goals from Sophia Miranda, Isabella Oliviera, Kat Somers, and 2 from Julia Joyce. The Wildcats were able to add a goal in the 73rd minute to avoid the shutout. The Huskies would go on to win the game 13-1 to earn their 3rd win of the season.
The Huskies' next game is Saturday, October 21st vs. Central Maine Community College at 11 AM at the Huskies Soccer Complex.
