The Mighty Oaks took on the Mustangs Wednesday night under the lights at SUNY Morrisville. The oaks came out strong scoring within the first 12 seconds of the game. Emma Miller had her first college career goal assisted by Nadia White. Nadia quickly found the back of the net again within the next 7 minutes of the game, assisted by Jessica Bolton. The oaks went into the second half with a 2-0 lead and quickly gained a 3-0 lead in the early second half when Mackenzie Koniszewski found the net with help of Jessica Bolton. Later in the second half the mustangs began to rally against the oaks putting 2 goals up. However, the mighty oaks remained strong and maintained the lead with a 3-2 finish. Lexi Lundman had her first career start for the Oaks. She came out strong, skilled and with passion. She proved to be a huge part of the teams success over the Mustangs and earned her title of player of the game.
