In the championship game of the New Hampshire Technical Institute Invitational, the ACPHS men's soccer team fell to the host team by a score of 2-0 on Sunday afternoon.
Adam Hoye-Simek did his best to keep the Panthers in the game, making 11 saves in net, but it wasn't enough for ACPHS as they fell to 1-1 on the season.
After surviving Saturday's opening round game, the Panthers couldn't get any offense going and the Lynx opened the scoring with 16 minutes remaining in the first half and scored again 10 minutes later as they took a 2-0 lead into halftime.
ACPHS had two goals called back in the second half due to offsides as the Panthers were shutout for the first time in 10 games, dating back to last season.
Hoye-Simek and
Alexander Perry-Ferrari were both named to the All-Tournament Team.
