The Word of Life Huskies have won the 2022 Bible College WNIT hosted by Word of Life!
The Huskies took on the Patrick Henry Sentinels in the Bible College WNIT this year. Word of Life began with an 8-0 run in the first four minutes of the game which was a pace-setter for the remainder of the contest. The Sentinels tried to hang on, but the Huskies' offense was just too much. The Huskies took advantage of Sentinels' turnovers, being able to capitalize 30 points off those turnovers. Additionally, the Huskies put back 20 second-chance points which aided in their decisive 66-38 victory over the Sentinels.
Leading the way for the Huskies was sophomore Grace Sheaffer with 20 points and 16 rebounds and freshman Kiera Pipeling with 12 points and 6 assists. Other notable players for Word of Life were Molly Deshetsky who chipped in 11 points while posting 12 rebounds and Melody Parker who posted 7 points, 3 assists, and 3 steals.
