Box Score
GLENMONT, N.Y. – The host Gators proved too much for the Gryphons to handle, as Sarah Lawrence College men's soccer was shutout by The Sage Colleges, 6-0, in a non-conference game at Bethlehem SoccerPlex on Saturday.

Sage (6-1) scored its first goal in the 13th minute as sophomore Tyler Denton (Saquoit, N.Y./Saquoit) notched his second score of the season. In the 24th minute, sophomore midfielder Jose Miranda (Bay Shore, N.Y./Bay Shore) doubled the lead to 2-0.

Sarah Lawrence (1-2) held off the Gator attack for the latter portion of the first half, but Sage junior Scott Jarosz (Brunswick, Maine/Brunswick) scored a third goal in the 48th minute. Juniors Kris Kallenbach (Bristol, Conn./Bristol Central), David Gould (Frankfort, N.Y./Frankfort Schulyer Central) and Matt Flaherty (Port Jefferson Station, N.Y./Comsewogue) rounded out the Sage scoring effort.

Between the pipes, Gryphon senior Trevor Wallace (San Anselmo, Calif., Cate School) tallied half a dozen saves in his first appearance in goal since his sophomore season. The Gryphons were held without a shot of their own.

Sarah Lawrence heads to nearby Albany College of Pharmacy for the team's next game on Sun., Sept. 16 at 3 p.m.
