The game was tight through the opening minutes as the teams remained tied at 6-6 through six minutes of play. Back-to-back jumpers by Oppong started a 10-2 run for Sarah Lawrence that marked the Gryphons' taking the lead for good. The Green and White scored 12 of the final 13 points of the half, carrying a 30-16 edge into the intermission.
