Panthers Come From Behind to Win Again

Box Score
The ACPHS men's basketball team defeated Vaughn College 56-47 on Sunday in an exciting come from behind victory.

It didn't look good for ACPHS in the first half as Vaughn was able to hold the Panthers to just 16 points while scoring 27 of their own, sending Vaughn into the half with an 11 point lead.

The Panthers came alive in the second half of the game however, going on an 11 point run to tie the game at 27 and outscoring Vaughn by a margin of 2-1. Once the Panthers took over the lead, on a free-throw from Joe Britt, they never looked back and outscored Vaughn 40-20 in the second half to earn their second conference win.

Freshman Ryan McVaigh led the Panthers, earning a double-double with 17 points and 10 rebounds, while Casey Redfern had 12 points and five rebounds.

The Panthers improve to 6-1 on the season, and will return to action on Thursday, December 6th at 7:00pm at neighboring Sage college.
