The Lions opened up their 2019-2020 season with a huge 74-15 victory over Webb Institute. With new faces and talent on the team, the Lions seemed to have no problem finding their chemistry as a team. The Lions played great both offensively, putting up 59 more points than Webb and defensively, holding Webb to scoring single-digits in each half.
Returning sophomore Tyler Bowens had an incredible game, putting up double-digits with 23 points. Bowens also had great percentages hitting 6 of the 7 free throws he was given and netting 3 of 4 three-point shots.
Freshman Andrew Pelaschier and sophomore Jordan Bishop also scored in double-digits with 10 points a piece. Sophomore Trevor Holland followed close behind putting up 9 points for the Lions.
NEXT UP: The Lions have a short turnaround time, with another away game tomorrow against Culinary Institute at 2:00pm.
