On Saturday, January 13, the Vaughn College Warriors men's basketball team squared off against the Davis College Falcons. The Warriors entered the Hudson Valley Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (HVIAC) contest with a 2-0 record in conference play. Once again the men's basketball team struggled playing short-handed. However the Warriors played with a high level of energy and focus to help propel them to victory. The men's basketball team picked up their third win in the HVIAC defeating the Falcons by a final score of 77-69.

The Warriors had four players score double figures in the triumph over the Falcons. Bryan Green (Bronx, NY) led the way for men's basketball team with another spectacular performance. Green had a game-high 34 points and a school record 29 rebounds. Kevin Catalino (Bronx, NY) recorded his first career double-double. The Freshman forward finished with 10 points and 10 rebounds. Kermarlie Mclean (Brooklyn, NY) chipped in 13 points, six assists and five rebounds. Kirby Santos (Bronx, NY) added 10 points, five rebounds and four steals.

The win keeps the Warriors undefeated in the HVIAC. They will travel to Pratt Institute on Thursday, January 18, to take on the Cannoneers.
