As the Blue Angels set to defend their lead, one minute later, freshman Rolando Oseguera got in on the scoring column recovering his own missed shot for his fifth goal of the season. As the half progressed, the Blue Angels kept their attack strong as 12 minutes later, forward Marcelo Furchi(Mount Vernon, NY) tacked one more on for his third goal on the year and third goal for the Blue Angels. With a 3-0 lead in the first half, CNR started to focus more on the defensive side after the Warriors Kevin Moreira put one past goalie Elijah Robinson (New York) for their first goal of the game bringing the score at half time to 3-1.

As the second half began, the physicality and intensity of the game became more evident as six fouls and two warnings were given in the first ten minutes of the second half. The Angels capitalized on the fouls as freshman Juan Arboleda (Medellin, Colombia) scored his second goal after bending a free kick around the defenders into the net. The pressure was then put on the Blue Angels by the visiting Warriors as Vaughn put six shots towards the goal over the next 15 minutes landing their second goal by Kevin Moreira scoring off a corner kick for his second goal of the game in the 78th minute.

The Blue Angels countered the goal by the Warriors with a goal of their own only 45 seconds later as Xavier Cruzata scored his second goal of the game to increase the lead back to three. The goal by Cruzata was his fifth on the year tying Oseguera for team leader.

The aggressive play by the Blue Angels turned into an opportunity for the Warriors as a penalty kick by Azzedine Sekkhat gave them their third goal of game with ten minutes remaining. Shortly after Rolando Oseguera put his second goal of the game behind the keeper with a shot outside the 18, off a beautiful pass from freshman Marcelo Furchi.
