2009 HVMAC Team Champions
Cooper Union
Cooper Union repeats as Hudson Valley Men’s Athletic Conference Team Champions with a dominating performance placing four runners in the top 10. Led by Taylor Knoblock who finished in second place, Cooper Union also had strong showings throughout the year including a 7th place finish at the Mount Saint Mary Invitational, which was tops among the five HVMAC teams at the event.

Zach Yates of Albany College of Pharmacy is the 2009 Hudson Valley Men’s Athletic Conference Individual Cross Country Champion, blazing through the course at Purchase College in a time of 28:48, winning by 22 seconds. The freshman wins his first career meet coming fresh off a second place finish at the Green Mountain Invitational. A three-time HVMAC Runner of the Week, Yates led the Panthers to a runner-up finish in the HVMAC Championships.

Craig Tynan • Albany College of Pharmacy
Albany College of Pharmacy head coach Craig Tynan has been selected by his peers as this year’s Hudson Valley Men’s Athletic Conference Coach of the Year. Tynan has showed tremendous success building the program competing in their first full varsity season, with second place finishes last week at the Green Mountain Invitational and now this week at the HVMAC Championships.
