Rutherford covered the hilly 8K course at the Bard Invitational in 31:11 placing in 19th overall, the top HVMAC harrier out of five teams in action this past Saturday. The sophomore from Cape May, N.J. became the first CIA runner to medal in the event, making a decisive move in the final 1000 meters to earn a top 20 finish.
