All-HVIAC Men's Cross Country Team Announced; Slonosky Named Runner of the Year

NEW YORK  SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry senior Stephen Slonosky (Elbridge, N.Y.) was named 2015 HVIAC Men's Cross Country Runner of the Year, headlining the five men named to the 2015 All-HVIAC Team, recognizing outstanding performances throughout the past season.

Slonosky captured the overall individual title at the HVIAC Championships, besting the field of 46 runners in the 8-kilometer race. Guiding the Mighty Oaks to the team title in their first season in the league, SUNY ESF head coach John View was tabbed the 2015 Coach of the Year. 

ACPHS freshman Ryker Bodo (Guilderland, N.Y.) was selected as the Rookie of the Year after receiving Rookie of the Week honors three times this season, and finishing in 17th place overall at the HVIAC Championships.

The HVIAC All-Conference Team, Runner of the Year, Rookie of the Year and Coach of the Year are selected by the men's cross country coaches in the conference.
