In the championship game against Saint Joseph’s, DiNizo scored a team high of 14 points to help lead the Dolphins to victory. In her three years at the Mount, DiNizo has always been one of the team’s leading scorers as well as a top competitor in the conference as she has been named player of the week on numerous occasions.

Returning for his second season as Mount Saint Vincent, Coach Francis had set his sights on getting redemption for the Dolphins early exit last season to the cinderella Purchase squad in the first round of the tournament.With a solid core of returning players and some talented freshmen, Coach Francis took his Dolphins up against the the top ranked team in the conference and pulled out the first Mount Saint Vincent Women’s Tournament championship in almost ten years.
