2011 Regular Season & Tournament Champions
Culinary Institute of America
In their first season in the conference, the Culinary Institute of America Lady Steels went undefeated in league play to capture the regular season title. Culinary then capped a one-loss season winning the tournament championship with a pair of straight set victories over defending champions New Rochelle and last year’s tournament runner up, St. Joseph’s.

Jeanne Casagrande earns Tournament MVP honors amassing 17 kills with a tournament-best .326 hitting percentage. The sophomore middle hitter who also earned Rookie of the Week accolades in week four also got the job done on the defensive end with a team-leading 13 digs and four blocks.
Coach of the Year
Jamie Floryan • Culinary Institute of America
Culinary Institute head coach Jamie Floryan was selected by her peers as the 2011 HVWAC Coach of the Year. In her first year at the helm, Floryan guided the Lady Steels to an impressive 13-1 season in their first varsity campaign and brought the first volleyball title back home to Hyde Park, NY.
