Women's Volleyball Player of the Week - September 4, 2012

Kristina Nilaj, New Rochelle

Senior • Libero/Setter • Yonkers, NY (Yonkers HS)

Nilaj was named to the Kings Point Invitational All-Tournament Team after leading the Blue Angels in kills, assists, and digs over the three matches.  The libero/setter averaged 2.4 digs, 2.0 assists, 1.5 kills, 0.3 service aces and 0.2 blocks per set in an outstanding overall performance.  Nilaj highlighed her week against Farmingdale State, where the Yonkers, NY senior tallied a match-high 14 digs, a team-high 12 assists and eight kills.
