Padilla Rios slammed home 37 kills (2.85 kills/set) while leading the team with 61 digs (4.69 digs/set) over a 3-1 week for New Rochelle that saw the Blue Angels’ win streak end at 11 and their string of consecutive sets won end at 30. In the conference win over St. Joseph’s College-Brooklyn, Padilla Rios tallied a double-double, slamming home 10 kills with a .500 hitting percentage, while digging up a match-high 17 balls, adding four aces. The outside hitter recorded another double-double in the win over UMass-Dartmouth, tallying a match-high 10 kills and 21 digs.
