Men's Cross Country Player of the Week

Matthew Tripp, SUNY ESF

Freshman • Fayetteville, N.Y.

Tripp placed first out of 252 harriers at Roberts Wesleyan running the fastest 8K time by a freshman in program history (26:01).

Men's Cross Country Rookie of the Week

Carlos Lopez, Berkeley

Freshman • Passaic, N.J.

Lopez finished the Fred Pavlich Invitational (8K) at Bard College in 40:23, but Berkeley did not score as a team.

Women's Cross Country Player of the Week

Abby Perez, SUNY ESF

Freshman • Queens, N.Y.

Perez placed fifth in a field of 221 runners at Roberts Wesleyan running the fastest 5K in program history with a time of 18:49.

Women's Tennis Player of the Week

Sophie Bischoff, Pratt

Junior • Durham, N.C.

Bischoff picks up her second-straight Player of the Week award after winning at No. 1 singles against both Vaughn (10-1) and Sarah Lawrence (6-1, 6-1), as well as victories at first doubles in both of those matches in a 2-0 week for Pratt.

Women's Tennis Rookie of the Week

Lisa Fan, Pratt

Freshman • Guangdong, China

Fan came out on top at the sixth flight in singles, 10-6, against Vaughn and won without losing a point at fifth singles over Sarah Lawrence as Pratt went 2-0 on the week.

Women's Volleyball Player of the Week

Emily Angelastro, Five Towns

Junior • Libero • Seaford, N.Y.

Angelastro posted 12 aces and nine digs in the Sound's first win in program history downing HVIAC foe Culinary, 3-0. The junior added 13 digs against Fisher and currently leads the conference in aces and digs per set.

Women's Volleyball Rookie of the Week

Lanasia Drain, Five Towns

Freshman • Middle Blocker • Bay Shore, N.Y.

Drain led the Sound to their first win in program history with 17 kills and an ace as they swept Culinary at home.

Women's Soccer Player of the Week

Gabriella Evangelista, Albany Pharmacy

Junior • Goalkeeper • Warwick, N.Y.

Evangelista had 30 saves in the Panthers' 1-0 loss SUNY ESF while her only goal allowed was on a PK. The junior also had 16 saves in Albany Pharmacy's double-overtime tie against SUNY POLY, including saving a high ball under the crossbar with the second overtime winding down to preserve the tie.

Women's Soccer Rookie of the Week

Mayle Lupia-Eannace, Albany Pharmacy

Freshman • Forward • Barneveld, N.Y.

The freshman had both goals in the Panthers' 2-2 tie with SUNY Poly and added a hat trick and an assist in an 11-1 league victory over Five Towns.

Men's Soccer Player of the Week

Josiah Simons, King's

Senior • Midfielder • Colorado Springs, Colo.

The senior captain facilitated the Lions' conference victory over Culinary last week scoring twice on four shots and dishing out three assists for seven points in a 15-1 triumph.

Men's Soccer Rookie of the Week

Aaron Flint, SUNY ESF

Freshman • Midfielder • Woodhull, N.Y.

In Flint's first game as a starter, he pulled off an impressive back-heel assist as the Mighty Oaks picked up a 6-0 league win over Albany Pharmacy.

Honor Roll

Ian Foote, SUNY ESF • Men's Soccer

The junior handed out an assist and anchored the Mighty Oaks' backline in a 6-0 HIVAC shutout of Albany Pharmacy.

Aine Haugh, SUNY ESF • Women's Soccer

The freshman's strong defensive presence and one-on-one play ensured a shutout a week for the Mighty Oaks, allowing no goals.

Monica Hayes, Berkeley • Women's Cross Country

The sophomore led Berkeley finishing in 35:05 at the Fred Pavlich Invitational (6K) at Bard College.

Hailey Hirst, King's • Women's Soccer

The freshman scored her first collegiate goal in a 3-1 loss to Valley Forge.

Avery Johnson, King's • Women's Volleyball

The freshman had 17 kills, 17 digs, and 25 points in a 1-2 weekend for King's.

Noah Keith, Albany Pharmacy • Men's Soccer

The senior tallied the game's lone goal in a 1-0 conference win over Five Towns.

Badesim Kubak, Pratt • Women's Volleyball

The senior totaled 24 assists and 10 aces across three matches for the Cannoneers.

Renae Maganza, King's • Women's Volleyball

The sophomore had 40 assists in three weekend matches including 25 in a win against Cooper Union.

Ryan Naidu, Culinary • Men's Soccer

The rookie picked up his fifth collegiate goal but the Steels fell to Word of Life, 2-1.

Marissa Pompeii, SUNY ESF • Women's Soccer

The senior boomed in a goal from almost 19 yards out in a 4-2 win over Broome Community College.

William Rivera, Five Towns • Men's Soccer

The rookie contributed a pair of assists as the Sound defeated Williamson, 6-0.

Julio Sanchez, Berkeley • Men's Cross Country

The sophomore paced Berkeley with a time of 35:37 at the Fred Pavlich Invitational (8K).

Adrian Santos, Five Towns • Men's Soccer

The sophomore netted a hat trick in the Sound's 6-0 shutout of Williamson.

Amadou Sy, Berkeley • Men's Soccer

The sophomore had a hat trick and a helper as Berkeley downed Word of Life and added two the team's three scores in a 3-3 tie with Summit.

Angela Wilamo, Culinary • Women's Volleyball

The junior brought up 11 digs and had an ace in a league loss to Five Towns.

Jennifer Xiong, Five Towns • Women's Soccer

Xiong put her name in the record books as she scored the first goal in Five Towns College history in the match against Albany Pharmacy on Sunday.
