Women's Volleyball Player of the Week

Badesim Kubak, Pratt

Senior • Setter • Istanbul, Turkey

Kubak facilitated the offense in two sweeps last week, dishing out 24 assists (3 aces) against NCAA Division III opponent Purchase and serving up 17 assists with three digs and an ace in a league victory over Five Towns. 

Women's Volleyball Rookie of the Week

Avery Johnson, King's

Freshman • Outside Hitter • Fairburn, Ga.

Johnson did it all in King's sweep of NCAA Division III Centenary (N.J.) accumulating 11 kills, 21 digs, five aces, and a block assist.

Women's Soccer Player of the Week

Mayle Lupia-Eannace, Albany Pharmacy

Freshman • Forward • Barneveld, N.Y.

A one-time Rookie of the Week, Lupia-Eannace captures Player of the Week honors after scoring a goal in a 5-0 win over Central Maine C.C. and dropping two scores and three assists on conference opponent King's in a 7-1 victory.

Women's Soccer Rookie of the Week

Shannon Donnelly, Albany Pharmacy

Freshman • Midfielder • Delmar, N.Y.

Donnelly scored twice on just five shots and had a dime in Albany Pharmacy's 7-1 HVIAC triumph versus King's.

Men's Soccer Player of the Week

Amadou Sy, Berkeley

Sophomore • Forward • Dakar, Senegal

Sy picks up his second-straight Player of the Week award with an impressive two-game stretch, notching a goal against Vaughn as the Knights remained perfect in HVIAC competition and adding a hat trick in Berkeley's 6-0 win over Penn State-Lehigh Valley.

Men's Soccer Rookie of the Week

Anthony Molina, Five Towns

Freshman • Midfielder • Corona, N.Y.

Molina controlled the midfield in Five Towns' 10-0 win against Villa Maria, finishing with a goal and two dimes on the day.

Men's Cross Country Player of the Week

Julio Sanchez, Berkeley

Sophomore • Woodland Park, N.J.

Sanchez was the top runner for Berkeley at the NJIT Highlander Challenge, covering the course in 33:17.

Women's Cross Country Player of the Week

Monica Hayes, Berkeley

Sophomore • Staten Island, N.Y.

Hayes covered the 5K course at the NJIT Highlander Challenge in 25:21.

Honor Roll

Emily Angelastro, Five Towns • Women's Volleyball

The junior totaled 34 digs and six aces in an 0-2 week for the Sound.

Matthew Crespo, Vaughn • Men's Soccer

The freshman forward scored his first goal of the season in a 5-2 triumph over Culinary.

Tatiana Johnson, Culinary • Women's Volleyball

The freshman put up seven kills, four aces, three digs, and two total blocks as CIA fell to Cooper Union in five sets.

Conner Jonigkeit, Culinary • Men's Soccer

The sophomore scored his first goal just 22 minutes into his collegiate debut.

Jensen Kelley, Albany Pharmacy • Men's Soccer

The freshman anchored the defense and helped keep King's scoreless in the Panthers' hard-fought HVIAC shutout.

Renae Maganza, King's • Women's Volleyball

The sophomore had 27 assists and four digs as King's defeated Centenary 3-0.

Kevin Moreira, Vaughn • Men's Soccer

The sophomore recorded his first career hat trick and had an assist in the Warriors' conference win over Culinary.

Austin Myers, Albany Pharmacy • Men's Soccer

The senior scored the game-winning goal in ACPHS' 1-0 victory over King's handing the Lions their first loss of the season.

Jonathan Russell, Berkeley • Men's Soccer

The rookie contributed a goal in Berkeley's 6-0 defeat of Vaughn last week.

Adrian Wong, Five Towns • Men's Soccer

The rookie collected a hat trick and handed out an assist for seven points in the Sound's rout of Villa Maria.

Jennifer Xiong, Five Towns • Women's Soccer

The freshman found the back of the net twice (17 shots) in Five Towns' 6-3 loss to Villa Maria.
