Women's Tennis Player of the Week

Amanda Twu, Pratt

Senior • Spring Lake, Mich.

Twu didn't lose a single point against SUNY Delhi winning 6-0, 6-0 at first singles and 8-0 at the second doubles position as Pratt went on to sweep the day.

Women's Tennis Rookie of the Week

Lisa Fan, Pratt

Freshman • Guangdong, China

Fan collected her third Rookie of the Week honor of the year after a perfect outing against SUNY Delhi winning 6-0, 6-0 at No. 4 singles and 8-0 at No. 2 doubles.

Men's Cross Country Player of the Week

Jeremy Jimenez, Berkeley

Sophomore • Bronx, N.Y.

Jimenez finished the 8K Desales Invitational in 39:44 to lead Berkeley's runners.

Women's Cross Country Player of the Week

Marcella Valencia, Berkeley

Sophomore • Clifton, N.J.

Valencia topped the Knights at the Desales Invitational, finishing in 32:35 (6K).

Men's Soccer Player of the Week

Amadou Sy, Berkeley

Sophomore • Forward • Dakar, Senegal

Sy continues his hot play with his third-straight Player of the Week award after scoring four goals on an efficient .500 shot percentage this week including a hat trick in a conference victory over Culinary.

Men's Soccer Rookie of the Week

Adrian Wong, Five Towns

Freshman • Forward • Jamaica, N.Y.

Wong earned his second Rookie of the Week award of 2019 as he contributed a goal to the Sound's 3-1 win over NHTI and added two scores and a helper in their 5-2 triumph over Bryant & Stratton-Albany.

Women's Volleyball Player of the Week

Emily Angelastro, Five Towns

Junior • Libero • Seaford, N.Y.

Angelastro claimed her second Player of the Week award bringing up 58 digs across three matches for the Sound including 15 digs, eight aces, four kills, and two assists in a sweep of Penn State-Scranton.

Women's Volleyball Rookie of the Week

Deanna Colondona, Pratt

Freshman • Defensive Specialist • Manorville, N.Y.

Colondona had 20 digs and two aces as the Cannoneers swept HVIAC foe Five Towns as well as eight digs, an assist, and a kill in a win over Penn State-Scranton.

Honor Roll

Shannon Corr, Pratt • Women's Volleyball

The sophomore accumulated 15 kills and nine aces across two Cannoneer wins.

Lanasia Drain, Five Towns • Women's Volleyball

The rookie put up 21 kills and three total blocks as Five Towns went 1-2 on the week.

Avery Johnson, King's • Women's Volleyball

The freshman had 10 digs, seven kills, and two aces as the Lions swept Five Towns.

Alex Kemsley, King's • Women's Volleyball

The freshman notched six kills, three digs, three aces, and two total blocks in King's win over Five Towns.

Jevon Powis, Berkeley • Men's Soccer

The freshman put up a goal and an assist in Berkeley's downing of Culinary.

Adrian Santos, Five Towns • Men's Soccer

The sophomore tallied three goals in a 2-0 week for the Sound including the game-winner over USCAA-D2 #8 NHTI.
