ANNANDALE-ON-HUDSON, N.Y.—Sarah Lawrence College men's cross country competed in the team's third race of the season at the Bard Invitational on Saturday afternoon. Five runners represented the Gryphons, placing 11th in a competitive field of teams.

For the second straight week, Caleb Jaster (New Hampton, N.H., Sant Bani) led the way for Sarah Lawrence. His time of 33:00 on the 8 km course is less than 10 seconds off of his personal best over the same distance. Jaster's efforts earned him 38th place in a field of over 100 runners.

Sophomore Asher Morse (Falls Church, Va., George Mason) returned to action after missing last week's race. Morse posted a time of 36:08, nearly a minute and a half better than his season best set at Purchase on Sept. 8. Classmate Riley Smith (West Linn, Ore., Palo Alto (Calif.)) was the next Gryphon across the line, cutting nearly five minutes off his time from last week to finish at 36:51.

Rounding out Sarah Lawrence's efforts, Joseph Bensimon (/) clocked in at 41:36, while Ben LoPiccolo (Foster, R.I., Ponaganset) followed at 41:37.

Next weekend, Sarah Lawrence heads to Mount Saint Mary College for the MSMC Knight Invite on Sept. 29.
