Box Score Staten Island, NY- The Medgar Evers College Women's Soccer team played a non-conference match at the College of Staten Island. The Dolphins defeated the Cougars 10-0. The Dolphins improve to 3-0 Overall while the Cougars fall to 0-1 Overall.

In net was goalkeeper and Freshman Marlene Thompson. Thompson who made her debut in net, gave up all 10 goals and made an impressive 17 saves. Thompson faced 44 shots and 27 of which on goal. Marlene improved in her ball awareness and quick reflexes as the match played on.

The Cougars will be back in action on Wednesday September, 11th, 2013, when they play the City College of New York Beavers on Randalls Island. This is a non-conference match, and game time is set for 4pm.
