Men Suffer Fourth Conference Loss

The Vaughn College Warriors men's basketball team suffered their fourth loss in the Hudson Valley Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (HVIAC) on Friday, Janurary 31. The loss came to the second place Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences Panthers. The Warriors competed hard througout the contest but struggled to score the basketball. The defeat drops their record in the HVIAC to 2-4. The Warriors have one conference game remaining in which they will need to win along with receiving help from other teams around the HVIAC to make the playoffs. 

Kemarlie McLean (Brooklyn, NY) poured in 23 points and grabbed four rebounds in the loss to the Panthers. His backcourt teammate Marcus Heron (Yonkers, NY) recorded his first career double-double. Heron finished the game with 15 points and a season-high 11 rebounds. Patrick Silva Da Cruz (Yonkers, NY) added seven points and five rebounds. 

The Warriors will face The New School Narwhals on Saturday, February 1. The game will be played at Grace Church H.S.
