Brooklyn (6-9) ran away with the opening set, 25-4, leaving Sarah Lawrence (2-15) without a kill. The Gryphons gained their composure in the second set, leading by as many as seven points at 15-8. BC rebounded and strung together a pair of eight-point streaks to halt SLC, 25-17.

The victory was the Bulldogs' second over SLC this year; on Sept. 15, Brooklyn defeated SLC, 3-0 in Bronxville.

Sarah Lawrence returns home on Friday and hosts Lehman College at 7 p.m. at Noyes Court at Campbell Sports Center. The Gryphons then host York College (N.Y.) on Tuesday at 7 p.m.
