Box Score 2 JERSEY CITY, N.J. - The Yeshiva University men's volleyball team returned to action after the holiday break on Sunday at New Jersey City University's John J. Moore Athletics and Fitness Center, falling in a pair of Skyline Conference matches. The Macs dropped a three-set decision to the host Gothic Knights (25-8, 25-16, 25-21), before falling to College of Mount Saint Vincent in straight sets (25-21, 25-22, 25-17).

Elchanan Margolis (Toronto, Ont.) paced Yeshiva in the opening contest against NJCU, putting down nine kills while adding a service ace.
In the nightcap against the Dolphins, three YU players reached double-digit digs in the back row. Junior defensive specialist
Aaron Begin (Los Angeles, Calif.) registered a team-best 11 digs, while Margolis (four kills, two assisted blocks) and fellow senior co-captain,
Jared Rechnitz (Los Angeles, Calif.; team-high-tying six kills, two service aces) passed successfully on 10 occasions apiece. Senior middle blocker
Daniel Lapson (Skokie, Ill.) tied Rechnitz for the team lead with six kills against Mount Saint Vincent.
Head coach Arnold Ross's Yeshiva side rounds out Skyline play on Tuesday night (April 9), when it plays host to Purchase College in an 8 p.m. match at Max Stern Athletic Center.
