Dottin Has Career Night in Warriors Kings HVIAC Match-Up

Queens, N.Y. -- The men's basketball team hosted Hudson Valley Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (HVIAC) opponent, King's College, on Wednesday, February 2, at Elmcor Recreation Center. This was the Warriors' second game since returning from the long semester break. It was a close game at halftime. The Warriors trailed the King's College Lions by nine points. Defense played a huge part in the Warriors5' collapse in the second half. The Lions scored 60 points in the second half to defeat the Warriors 97-68.

Warriors freshman big man Fabrizio Dottin (Queens, NY)  had a career night. Dottin led all players on both teams in points and rebounds. He posted an impressive statline with 29 points, 10-15 from the field, and 12 rebounds. Dottin now has two double-doubles on the season.

Ajay Sharma (Queens, NY) poured in 20 points for the Warriors in his second game of the season. The rookie guard has scored 10+ in each of his games. Louis Roche (Carteret, NJ) notched 12 points. Michael Reed (Freeport, NY) added seven points, nine rebounds and two assists. 

The loss drops the Warriors' record to 1-2 in conference play.
