Men's Soccer Opens Season With Win Over FLCC
The men's soccer team started its season off with a 5-0 win over Finger Lakes Community College. ESF started off slow going scoreless in the first half. In the second half, the Mighty Oaks exploded for five goals. Sophomore Jack Phillips had one goal and one assist.
"We came together in the second half and worked with one another to get the result we came for." said freshman Caleb Prenoveau.
On Sept. 4, the Mighty Oaks fell to rival Onondaga Community College 1-0 in the annual King of the Hill Cup.
The men's team open HVIAC play on the road Sept. 7 versus Five Towns College.
