Warriors Struggle To Find Offense Against SUNY ESF

Queens, N.Y., -- The Vaughn College Warriors hosted the SUNY ESF Oaks on Sunday, December 12, at Elmcor Recreation Center. The Warriors entered the Hudson Valley Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (HVIAC) contest looking to pick up their first conference win of the season. Unfortunately, the Warriors struggled offensively throughout the entire game. For the first time this season no Warrior scored in double-digits. They would go on to fall to the Oaks by a wide margin.

Fabrizio Dottin (Queens, NY) led the Warriors with eight points and nine rebounds. Louis Roche (Carteret, NJ) and Michael Reed (Freeport, NY) chipped in eight points apiece. Geremy Urena (Bronx, NY) added six points and grabbed a team-high 10 rebounds.

The loss drops the Warriors record to 1-3 overall and 0-1 in the HVIAC. The next game for the Warriors will be on the road against Five Towns College (FTC). The last time the Warriors played at FTC was during the 2019-20 season.
