The Word of Life Huskies welcomed Villa Maria College Vikings (Buffalo, NY) to Pottersville for their first meeting as conference opponents. The Huskies were quick out of the gate with two goals in the first seven minutes of the game. The Vikings responded with a goal of their own in the fourteenth minute of the game. The Huskies scored six unanswered goals to take an 8-1 lead early in the second half. The Vikings added two more goals before the full-time whistle, with Jasper Clouse securing a hat trick. The Huskies won the game 10-3 and had four multi-goal scorers.
