Roche Scores Career High In Tough Loss Against King's College

Brooklyn, N.Y. -- The Vaughn College men's basketball team faced the King's College Lions on Sunday, November 21. The Two teams played at the Hill Center Sports Complex in Brooklyn, N.Y. The Warriors trailed the Lions by nine points at halftime. The deficit would grow larger in the second half as the Warriors failed to generate offense. Despite a career night from junior guard Louis Roche (Carteret, NJ), the Warriors would go on to lose the game by a wide margin.

Roche poured in a career-high 26 points on 8-12 shooting, including a perfect 4-4 from distance. Freshman forward Geremy Urena (Bronx, NY) showed upside in the tough defeat. The bronx native finished with eight points on 50% shooting from the field and grabbed eight rebounds. Jordan Munez (Brooklyn, NY) added nine points, one assist and one steal. Noel Valentin (Bronx, NY) chipped in five points and two rebounds.

The Warriors will have some time off before their next conference. They will look to get back into the win column after they return from Thanksgiving break.
