On Wednesday, December 18, the Vaughn College Warriors men's basketball team faced the Berkeley College (NY) Knights at the Borough of Manhattan Community College (BMCC). The Warriors had a fast start to the game and held an early four point advantage against the Knights. However the Warriors were unable to sustain their offensive efficiency as the game continued. 

At halftime the Warriors trailed the Knights by 21 points. Despite the huge deficit the Warriors played hard to climb back into the game. They would make a late second half push but ultimately fall short of a comeback. 

Four players scored in double-figures for the Warriors in the loss. Kemarlie McLean (Brooklyn, NY) finished with a team-high 19 points. Michael Reed (Freeport, NY) registerd 14 points and eight rebounds. Louis Roche (Carteret, NJ) tallied 14 points and three rebounds. Marcus Heron (Yonkers, NY) added 11 points, six rebounds and five assists.
