Margolis One Kill Shy of Double-Double vs. Mount Saint Vincent

Elchanan Margolis has scored in double-figure points in three consecutive matches, and finished with a double-double in two of the last three outings.

NEW YORK - Junior outside hitter Elchanan Margolis (Toronto, Ont.) picked up nine kills, two service aces and a match-high 10 digs Tuesday night at Max Stern Athletic Center, but it was not enough for the Yeshiva University men's volleyball team, which fell by a 3-0 count (25-19, 25-17, 25-15) in Skyline Conference action to visiting College of Mount Saint Vincent.

The Macs also received 18 assists from junior setter Adam Rhodes (Los Angeles, Calif.), while junior Zack Baratz (Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.) chipped in with four kills.

Head coach Arnold Ross's YU side is back in Skyline action Sunday (Feb. 17), when it travels to Brooklyn, N.Y. for a pair of matches at NYU-Poly. The Maccabees will take on the host Blue Jays at 10 a.m., before squaring off with Ramapo College at 12 noon.
