JAMAICA, N.Y. - The Yeshiva University men's volleyball team dropped a 3-0 non-conference decision (15-25, 11-25, 12-25) Thursday night at York College.

The Maccabees (1-2) received four kills on offense and six digs from senior outside hitter Elchanan Margolis (Toronto, Ont.), while junior outside hitter Zach Baratz (Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.) tied for the match-high with two service aces.

Head coach Arnold Ross's YU side will kick off the Skyline Conference portion of its 2013 schedule Sunday (Feb. 3), in a tri-match at Ramapo College. The Macs will square off with Purchase College at 12 noon, before facing 14th-ranked Kean University at approximately 2 p.m.
