Queens, N.Y. -- The Vaughn College Warriors battled the Berkeley College (NY) Knights at Elmcor Recreation Center on Friday, February 4. The Warriors entered the game coming off a difficult loss to King's College in their last outing. Unfortunately for the Warriors, they were without their freshman big man, Fabrizio Dottin (Queens, NY) for the Hudson Valley Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (HVIAC) contest. The Warriors competed valiantly but were no match for Knights. They would fall to the Knights at home for their second home loss in a row. Since the Warriors have returned to action, they have struggled to regain their winning form.

Louis Roche (Carteret, NJ) led the way for Vaughn College. Roche poured in 24 points, grabbed three rebounds and had three assists. Ajay Sharma (Queens, NY) registered 17 points and six rebounds. Michael Reed (Freeport, NY) added 14 points, seven rebounds and dished out a season-high five assists. 

The Warriors will host Five Towns College in their next outing. The game is scheduled to be played on Thursday, February 10.
