The Vaughn College Warriors women's basketball team traveled to Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences (ACPHS) on Friday, January 31, to take on the second place Panthers in the Hudson Valley Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (HVIAC). The women only dressed five players for the conference match-up. Inexperience and lack of depth plagued the Warriors throughout the contest. They would go on to suffer a huge loss to the ACPHS Panthers.

Alexa Cruz (Pompton Lakes, NJ) led the Warriors with 10 points, seven rebounds, two steals and one rejection. Jazmin Garcia (Yonkers, NY) added two points, seven rebounds and three steals. Xylene Decoteau (St. Albans, NY) chipped in two points and five rebounds.

The Warriors will be back in action on Thursday, February 6. They will host non-conference opponent Bryant Stratton (Buffalo, NY) at Elmcor Recreation Center.
