Pottersville, NY – The Word of Life Bible Institute Huskies welcomed defending HVIAC Champion Berkeley College Knights into town for a big-time conference clash. The Knights started the season 6-0 and entered this game as their conference opener. The Huskies entered 3-0 and 1-0 in HVIAC play.
The Huskies struck first with a goal early from Joseph Mathews (7th of the season), but the Knights took the following 2 goals in the first half. The Huskies were able to add 1 more due to an own goal by the Knights to level it 2-2 before halftime. In the 2nd half, it was all Berkeley as they would go on to score 4 second-half goals to take a 6-2 win over the Huskies. The Knights move to 7-0 and the Huskies fall to 3-1.
