Five Towns Sound Off against Huskies

Pottersville, NY-- The Huskies hosted HVIAC rival Five Towns College Sound in the Huskies final HVIAC regular season match for 2023. The Sound got off to a hot start with Angel Chavez (Five Towns #9) scoring 3 of the Sounds 4 goals by the 25^th minute of the game (9', 20', 24', 25'). The Huskies were able to get on the board with a Penalty Kick goal from Alexi Marshall (#8) in the 29^th minute but still trailed 4-1. The Sound were not done as they added another 2 goals before taking a 6-1 lead into halftime. The Sound would go on to score 2 more goals and finish the day off with an 8-1 victory.

The Huskies drop to 3-2-1 on the season and 1-2 in HVIAC play and will go on the road to play Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences on Tuesday evening at 7 p.m.
