NEW YORK – The Hudson Valley Men’s Athletic Conference announced its 2013 Winter/Spring All-Academic Team today with 44 student-athletes earning recognition. Instituted in the 2010-11 season, the All-Academic Team recognizes excellence both in the field of play and in the classroom.

Of the 44 named All-Academic, 11 also received All-Conference honors in their respective sports, 13were repeat members and four were three-time recipients.

For the 2012-13 season, 79 student-athletes received All-Academic honors, the highest in the three-year history of the award. 

The All-Academic Team consists of student-athletes who have reached sophomore academic standing and have earned a 3.5 cumulative grade point average or better at the conclusion of the spring semester, and participate in one of the conference’s winter and spring sports - basketball, tennis and volleyball.
