BROOKLYN, N.Y. — The King's College Lions men's soccer team competed in their first HVIAC conference game against the Mighty Oaks of SUNY-ESF. Last year the Lions were unable to defeat the Mighty Oaks and were looking for a win tonight against this team. With stagnant play from each side, the two teams ended this rivalry in a tie, 0-0. This is the Lions first tie of this season, moving their season record to 3-0-1.

Junior Edvin Loefgren continues to be a standout player on the field, taking 2 shots on goal for the Lions. Coming off of his USCAA Player of the Year achievement, Loefgren is already on track for another great season, with a total of 7 goals and 1 assist.

Junior goalkeeper Olivier Saye ended the night with a clean sheet, saving 7 shots on goal from the Mighty Oaks. The defensive line also performed great, despite not being able to move the ball forward for a goal.
