2010 Coach of the Year

Steven Baker •  Cooper Union

After leading the Cooper Union Women’s Tennis team to the HVWAC Regular Season and Tournament Championship during
the Fall, Cooper Union Head Coach Steven Baker nearly made it a clean sweep during the Spring as the Hawks finished in a first place tie during the HVMAC regular season, and then turned in a commanding performance at the HVMAC Championships, beating Webb Institute by three points to claim the post-season crown. For his efforts, Baker was voted the HVMAC Coach of the Year. Under Baker’s guidance, Cooper Union captured two of the four HVMAC Championships during the 2006-07 year.
